The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software development, experience with databases, and strong communication with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience designing and developing software and database systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain DHS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve software and utilities for DHS programs.
• Analyze requirements and apply CS and engineering principles to build solutions.
• Update and enhance existing applications for performance and UX.
• Maintain databases within application areas, solo or in teams.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate systems as needed.
• Support system-level analysis and assessment of threats and vulnerabilities.
• Communicate technical findings clearly to diverse stakeholders.
