Job summary

Intec Select is seeking an experienced Network Engineer in the Tampa Bay Area to design, implement, and support enterprise Cisco networking solutions across a broad customer base. You will work on LAN/WAN, Wireless, DC projects and SD-WAN while collaborating with the Professional Services team.

The role emphasizes Cisco routing/switching, security, and advanced troubleshooting with a hybrid 2–3 days per week in-office. A strong background with Cisco Partner environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Cisco Routing & Switching technologies.
• Cisco Catalyst and/or Nexus switching platforms.
• Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF and EIGRP.
• VLANs, STP, LACP, HSRP and VRRP.
• Cisco Wireless / Catalyst Wireless experience preferred.
• Cisco Firepower / ASA experience preferred.
• VPN technologies and network security.
• Cisco Meraki experience is advantageous.
• Network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Previous experience working for a Cisco Partner, MSP or IT Consultancy.
• Strong customer-facing and Professional Services experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support enterprise Cisco network infrastructure solutions.
• Deliver LAN, WAN, Wireless and Data Centre networking projects.
• Configure and support Cisco routing and switching environments.
• Deploy and support Cisco security and network management solutions.
• Deliver SD-WAN and network transformation projects.
• Troubleshoot complex networking issues and provide technical escalation.
• Work closely with customers throughout project delivery.
• Produce technical documentation, network designs and implementation plans.
• Participate in network migrations, upgrades and infrastructure transformation projects.
