Job summary

The University of Miami in Miami, FL seeks a Sr Manager, Sponsored Programs to lead all administrative and financial aspects of the Sponsored Programs division at the Miller School of Medicine. You will develop policies, oversee proposal submissions, manage post-award reporting, and ensure compliance and efficient use of funding across departments in the Miller School of Medicine.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with federal sponsors (NIH, DOD, NSF) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify funding sources and plan outreach strategies.
• Develop grant applications and proposals.
• Oversee planning for events publicizing programs.
• Train, mentor and supervise staff; prepare performance reports.
• Negotiate contractual provisions with partners.
• Ensure grants and contracts adhere to standards.
• Oversee post-award financial reporting and forecasting.
