Job summary

Conagra Brands in Chicago is seeking a Finance professional to support Grocery supply chain performance through costing, forecasting, and reporting. You will partner with Plant Finance, Operations, and Corporate teams to deliver insights and drive financial results.

The role requires 5+ years of finance experience, advanced Excel skills, and proficiency in SAP and Power BI. You will contribute to forecasting accuracy, cost analysis, and strategic financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of professional finance, accounting, or related business experience.
• Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint proficiency.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
• Experience with forecasting, planning, variance analysis, and reporting.
• Knowledge of manufacturing finance and cost accounting preferred.
• Experience with SAP and Power BI preferred.
• MBA/CPA/ CMA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Forecast and deliver the financial forecast with cross-functional partners.
• Coordinate variance-to-plan and variance-to-forecast reporting.
• Lead month-end close and forecast processes.
• Translate manufacturing activity into Brand P&L impacts.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls.
• Provide variance analysis and improvement recommendations.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, capex, and balance sheet performance.
• Support annual planning and forecasting activities.
• Improve forecasting, planning, and cost-tracking processes.
• Train partners on financial processes.
• Provide ad hoc financial analyses.
• Lead cost estimation for new products and renovations.
