Job summary

Catbird, a premium fine jewelry brand, is seeking an experienced Senior E-Commerce Manager to own the strategy, performance, and evolution of its online business. You will lead site operations end to end, shape the digital roadmap, and drive cross-functional initiatives to elevate the customer experience.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of ecommerce experience owning site strategy, content, and operations in a multi-channel environment.
• Experience mentoring team members and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Hands-on leader able to switch between IC and strategic manager.
• Deep experience with ecommerce platforms, CMS, merchandising tools, and PM systems; OMS a plus.
• Strong program and project management skills with data-driven decision making.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and results-focused.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Customer-centric with understanding of how digital drives engagement, conversion, and retention.
• Ability to influence senior cross-functional partners to drive alignment.
• Experience with Shopify, A/B testing tools, GA4, Looker, BI tools, Fullstory, or Amplitude.
• Thrives in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day management and long-term strategy of the ecommerce platform, including migrating from Magento to Shopify.
• Lead end-to-end digital roadmap planning, including strategy development, budget management, prioritization, execution, and maintenance.
• Execute site marketing planning from content to launches in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Set the ecommerce measurement framework and deliver KPIs and actionable insights.
• Partner with analytics and marketing to optimize conversion, AOV, and retention.
• Manage external technical and agency partners, prioritization, sprint planning, UAT, and releases.
• Maintain third-party vendor relationships and represent Catbird externally.
• Develop and present ecommerce strategy, KPIs, and business results to leadership.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Stay ahead of ecommerce trends and introduce new tactics and technologies.
• Foster strong collaboration across ecommerce and cross-functional teams.
