Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Distribution Engineer in Framingham, MA, to lead electrical distribution design and client engagements. The role combines field and office work within a hybrid model, focusing on QA/QC, standards compliance, and coordination with clients and internal teams.

You’ll work on NESC-based designs, pole loading analyses, and programmatic tasks, with opportunities to mentor others and contribute to the Power Delivery Services Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Industrial) from ABET accredited school.
• 4+ years of electric distribution project experience in a consulting environment or utility.
• Experience with NESC and design QA/QC processes.
• Familiarity with distribution pole analysis tools and STORMS/GIS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of electrical distribution work packages and design analyses.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of team designs prior to client submittals.
• Review and organize existing program work with clients.
• Coordinate field data collection and site visits to develop work packages.
• Support construction with engineering input and post-construction reviews.
• Interact with clients regularly to align on priorities and scope.
