Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Distribution Engineer in the Framingham, MA area with a focus on electric utility design engineering. You'll work with clients to ensure high-quality work, gain expertise in NESC, pole modeling, GIS design, and field data collection.

The role is hybrid (3 days in office, 2 remote) and involves QAQC, design reviews, and coordination with clients and teams. 4+ years of electric distribution experience and an ABET engineering degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an ABET-accredited engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Industrial).
• Experience with the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) and design quality control.
• Familiarity with distribution pole analysis, Pole loading software, and field data collection.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of electrical distribution work packages.
• Perform engineering design and analysis with QAQC reviews.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to meet schedules and scope.
• Review engineering designs with clients and organize program work.
• Support field/office work and possible customer-site data collection.
