Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Lead Distribution Engineer in Framingham, MA. Hybrid work with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote. You will lead distribution design packages, perform engineering analyses, and ensure QA/QC across client projects.

The role requires 8+ years in electric distribution, an ABET-accredited engineering degree, and proficiency with NESC and pole-loading tools. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electric distribution project experience.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree required or equivalent.
• NESC knowledge and QA/QC experience.
• Pole loading tools familiarity (O-Calc, Pole Foreman).

Responsibilities

• Lead development of electrical distribution work packages.
• Perform engineering design and analysis.
• Coordinate field and office work with clients.
• QA/QC reviews of team designs before submittals.
• Interact with clients to review and organize work packages.
• Support field data collection and schedule adherence.
• Travel to customer sites as needed; support permitting and ROW work.
• Contribute to hiring and team development in the future.
