Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a Senior Demand Planner to forecast a defined product set and customers, collaborating across Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance. You will use Oracle Demantra, Oracle Analytics, Power BI, and AI-assisted tools to drive accurate forecasts and S&OP discussions with key retailers such as Home Depot, Walmart, Target, and Best Buy.

This hybrid role reports to the Deerfield, IL HQ with Tue–Thu in-office presence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in lieu considered
Minimum 5+ years of demand planning and/or sales analytics experience, preferably supporting big-box retail customers
Working knowledge of Oracle Demantra or a comparable advanced planning system required; hands‑on forecasting experience within Oracle Demantra strongly preferred
Experience with Oracle Analytics, Microsoft Power BI, or comparable BI tools for reporting and analysis required
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
Experience with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau) preferred but not required
Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude) for data analysis, reporting automation, or insight generation preferred
Statistical / time-series forecast modeling experience a plus
Knowledge of business math: gross margin percent, inventory turns, ROI
Strong analytical skills and ability to handle large data sets

Responsibilities

Manage high volume, big-box retail key account forecasts in Oracle Demantra
Present forecasts during Sales & Operations Planning process
Manage promotion and event forecasts for assigned accounts
Drive forecasting engagement with Business Units through S&OP and Annual Operating Plan
Achieve forecast accuracy and bias targets; conduct root-cause analysis
Develop and maintain new product launch forecasts for mechanical security and connected smart lock products
Build and maintain reporting using Oracle Demantra data in Oracle Analytics and Power BI; use Claude for acceleration
Lead/participate in innovative demand planning projects and process improvements
Identify improvements to forecast accuracy using statistical models and industry knowledge
