Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is seeking a Senior Demand Planner to manage forecasts for defined products and customers across the Security business unit, including Master Lock, SentrySafe, Yale and August brands.

You will develop volume and gross sales forecasts using Oracle Demantra and BI tools, and lead S&OP discussions with internal and external partners. You will collaborate across Supply Chain, Sales, Finance and Customers, using AI-assisted analysis tools like Claude to improve

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred; experience to be considered in lieu of degree.
5+ years of demand planning and/or sales analytics experience, preferably supporting big-box retail customers.
Working knowledge of Oracle Demantra or a comparable advanced planning system required; hands‑on forecasting experience within Oracle Demantra strongly preferred.
Experience with Oracle Analytics, Microsoft Power BI, or comparable business intelligence tools for reporting and analysis required.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
Experience with additional data visualization software (e.g., Tableau) preferred but not required.
Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude) for data analysis, reporting automation, or insight generation preferred.
Statistical / time-series forecast modeling experience a plus.
Requires a basic knowledge of business math, including gross margin percent, inventory turns, ROI, etc.
Must possess strong analytical skills and excellent database and spreadsheet capabilities; must be comfortable working with large data sets.
Must have the ability to learn and manage a variety of database applications, including customer‑specific online systems; experience with retailer online portals (e.g., Walmart Retail Link, The Home Depot’s vendor portal) a plus.
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills; a strong cross‑functional partner with the ability to work with all levels of the organization.
Must possess the ability to multi‑task, accept changes in direction and priorities quickly, and work with a sense of urgency.
Must demonstrate the ability to work with a high level of detail, accuracy, and accountability.
Must be a team player; requires daily communication with management and sales.

Responsibilities

Manage high-volume, big-box retail forecasts (e.g., The Home Depot, Walmart, Target, Best Buy) using Oracle Demantra.
Present forecasts during Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
Oversee promotion and event forecasts for accounts, including seasonal events and retailer resets.
Drive forecasting engagement with Business Units through S&OP and AOP processes.
Achieve forecast accuracy and bias targets; perform root-cause analysis with Demantra, Analytics and BI tools.
Develop and maintain launch forecasts for new products, including smart lock products.
Create reporting using Demantra data in Oracle Analytics and Power BI; translate data to actionable insight.
Lead innovative demand planning projects and cross-functional initiatives.
Identify improvements to forecast accuracy using statistical models and domain knowledge.
