Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP seeks a Senior Engineer – Cybersecurity R&D to lead advanced security research on Junos OS and related networks. The role combines hands-on analysis with architectural guidance and SDL compliance.

You will mentor staff, influence engineering decisions, and help shape the product security roadmap while collaborating across teams to improve resilience against evolving threats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or adjacent field.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity and secure development.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on cybersecurity R&D projects for Junos OS/SDLC.
• Lead threat modelling, static/dynamic analysis, and vulnerability management efforts.
• Support security certifications (FIPS 140, Common Criteria) and SDL practices.
• Mentor junior staff and drive the cybersecurity roadmap with stakeholders.
