Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an Engineer III – Cybersecurity R&D to join the Junos Cybersecurity R&D team within the Networking business unit. The role blends security engineering, certification work, and hands‑on development across networking devices and platforms.

The position supports NIST FIPS 140, Common Criteria and EUCRA certifications, emphasizes secure software development lifecycle, static/dynamic analysis, and AI‑assisted vulnerability management, with a hybrid work

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Cybersecurity
4–6 years of experience in cybersecurity roles
Experience with product security certifications (FIPS 140, Common Criteria) and SDL practices

Responsibilities

Support security certifications including NIST FIPS 140, Common Criteria, and EUCRA
Develop and enhance product security capabilities including certification gap analysis, threat modelling, static/dynamic analysis, penetration testing, and vulnerability management
Adopt new cybersecurity technologies and contribute to the cybersecurity roadmap and its execution
Provide consulting to engineering managers, platform teams, and product line managers
Pursue excellence in cybersecurity design and development
