Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Cybersecurity R&D team to build and lead a group advancing secure routers, switches, and firewalls running Junos OS. The role is hybrid, with in-office collaboration expected to drive security certifications and SDL practices at scale.

You will drive AI-assisted vulnerability discovery and remediation while coordinating across geographies with a strong emphasis on people leadership and strategic project delivery.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; negotiation and influence skills.

Responsibilities

• Builds and leads a team focused on security certification readiness and AI-driven defense.
• Leads through rapid changes in product security requirements and threats.
• Collaborates with peer managers to plan and execute cybersecurity projects across geographies.
• Manages headcount, deliverables, schedules and costs for multiple projects.
• Communicates project status with stakeholders and escalations when needed.
• Drives process improvements and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Provides people-care management: hiring, performance plans, coaching, and career development.
