Allegion is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst in Princeton, IL, offering a hybrid work model with some remote work. The role partners with plant and finance leadership to drive cost excellence in a high-growth manufacturing environment.

You’ll lead month-end close, cost accounting, budgeting, and key projects, supporting SOX compliance and internal controls. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, 5–8+ years’ experience, and strong communication skills to influence senior

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
• 5–8+ years in accounting/finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate insights to senior management in a concise, actionable format.
• Demonstrate leadership with cross-functional project ownership.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Advisory: act as a primary financial advisor to plant and functional leaders, translating data into actionable strategies.
• Operational Excellence: lead cross-functional Lean initiatives to drive profitability and efficiency.
• Team Mentorship: supervise and develop finance staff, ensuring high performance and growth.
• Compliance & Internal Controls: maintain GAAP and SOX compliance; strengthen internal controls.
• Financial Projects & Processes: manage month-end close, variances, cost accounting, and ROI analysis.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: drive AOP and rolling forecasts with leaders across functions.
• Special Assignments: support audits and inventory management.
