Job summary

Canon USA is seeking a field-based sales professional to sell Canon hardware and software solutions to printers, graphic houses, and fulfillment firms within an assigned list. You should live within commuting distance to Portland, OR to execute your duties effectively.

The role focuses on penetrating accounts with key decision makers, developing strategic local plans, and driving assignments that achieve short- and long-term goals while supporting internal departments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial print sales experience
• Direct experience selling into commercial printers, CRDs, in-plants, or graphic arts environments
• Strong understanding of production print workflows (prepress, color, finishing, production output)
• Experience with production devices (mono/color, sheetfed and/or roll-fed)
• Proven success managing complex, high-value sales cycles

Responsibilities

• Develops strategies to penetrate accounts and place Canon equipment and solutions
• Reports customer activity to management identifying requirements and trends
• Develops strategic local plans with short and long-term goals
• Provides marketing, technical and administrative support to named accounts
• Develops plans to introduce Canon tech, service, software and 3rd party solutions
• Establishes high level relationships with customers for long-term partnerships
