Qualifications

• 7+ years of claim handling experience
• Adjuster licenses required and must be able to obtain/maintain
• Strong technical and analytical skills with above-average communication abilities
• Superior customer service orientation and strong work ethic
• In-depth knowledge of policy interpretation, coverage issues, statutes, and litigation management
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of claims including investigation, settlement negotiations, or denials per guidelines
• Plan and execute investigations in coordination with Unit Leader
• Provide reporting on files with recommendations on reserving and action plans
• Collaborate in a dynamic specialized environment
• Evaluate claim exposures within assigned authority
• Attend business-related functions and meetings
• May perform additional related tasks as needed
