Responsibilities

• Handles a designated segment of serious, complex, highly valued claims exposures.
• Plans and executes investigation, settlement negotiations, or sustains an appropriate denial.
• Provides reporting on files to Unit Leader or Sr. Management, recommending reserves and action plans.
• Collaborates in a dynamic, specialized working environment and contributes ideas.
• Handles policy interpretation, coverage issues, statutes and state regulations, litigation management, investigations, documentation, and settlement strategies.
• Attends business-related functions such as team meetings and mediations.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned as needed.
