Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Architect Development Team Lead to support solution architecture and development for a government customer. The role is based in the Washington DC metropolitan area with a hybrid schedule, primarily remote and occasional onsite activities.

You will manage a team of engineers and architects, drive requirements, design scalable federal-grade architectures, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams using ServiceNow,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience in large-scale system design and development.
• Expert proficiency programming in Natural using ADABAS.
• Experience with Software AG’s NaturalONE Eclipse-based development environment.
• 5+ years’ project management experience.
• 5+ years’ experience working with customers on defining requirements.
• Strong ability to design solutions across multiple systems or sub-systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technical architects and developers.
• Assess existing background investigation support systems and processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user requirements and program needs.
• Design scalable solution architectures and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with development teams for implementation of solutions.
• Oversee file transfers with Connect Direct and IBM MQ.
• Develop and maintain JCL and batch processing scripts.
• Utilize ServiceNow and JIRA for workflow and requirements tracking.
