Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Senior Architect Development Team Lead to support solution architecture and development needs for a government customer. This role is located in the Washington DC metropolitan area and will be hybrid, primarily remote with occasional onsite activity.

The ideal candidate will lead an architecture team, coordinate with infrastructure and security teams, and ensure compliance with federal standards while guiding end-to-end development lifecycle activities across O&M and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s with 15+ years on large scale application design and development.
• Expert proficiency programming in Natural using ADABAS.
• Experienced in developing using Software AG’s NaturalONE Eclipse-based development environment.
• 5+ years’ project management experience.
• 5+ years’ experience working with customers on defining requirements.
• Expert proficiency working with customers to define requirements.
• Strong ability to design solutions across multiple systems or sub-systems.
• Demonstrated experience interacting with software application program development and management personnel.
• Demonstrated experience interacting with infrastructure support and management personnel in both cloud and on-premises environments.
• Proficient in O365 components to include Word, Excel, etc.
• Clearance Required: Top Secret level.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of technical architects and developers.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing background investigation support systems and processes at DCSA and other federal agencies.
• Interact with customers and stakeholders to understand user requirements and program needs.
• Design scalable and efficient solution architectures.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and standards.
• Develop solution architectures that address requirements and align with regulations.
• Collaborate with development teams for implementation of solutions.
• Conduct regular reviews to measure effectiveness of solutions.
• Provide expertise in federal contract and grants management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Use Atlassian tools including JIRA for requirements tracking.
• Design solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Interact with other development team personnel.
• Develop software using Natural with ADABAS.
• Maintain software processes to transfer files using Connect Direct.
• Develop and maintain JCL for batch processing.
• Develop and maintain queues/flows using IBM MQ.
• Anticipate customer/project needs and identify solutions.
