Job summary

Astrana Health is a fast-growing, publicly traded healthcare company seeking a Senior Accountant for our Technical Accounting team in Alhambra, CA. You will lead research, memo drafting, and application of US GAAP across the company, with a hands-on role in complex judgments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required; CPA preferred or in progress.
• 3+ years accounting experience with emphasis on technical accounting or auditing SEC registrants.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 805, ASC 810, ASC 606.
• Experience preparing or assisting with technical accounting memoranda and supportive documentation.
• Strong research and writing skills; ability to synthesize guidance into clear conclusions.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Research and draft technical accounting memoranda on complex transactions under US GAAP.
• Maintain accounting policy manual and monitor new FASB/SEC pronouncements.
• Assist with acquisition accounting, including purchase price allocations and opening balance sheets.
• Support consolidation analysis and VIE/NCIs documentation.
• Maintain and update technical accounting checklists and supporting documentation.
• Assist with design of internal controls and SOX 404 evidence collection.
• Prepare disclosures for Forms 10-K/10-Q and assist external audits.
