Job summary

Astrana Health, Inc. is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join our Corporate Finance team in a hybrid role based in Alhambra, CA. You will support an enterprise-wide audit plan across operational, IT, financial, and compliance activities, driving continuous improvement and strong governance.

The position reports to Wendy Huang and offers a compensation range of $110,000–$125,000 per year. Hybrid work, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and opportunities to apply data analytics are key

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in auditing, business, or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in internal audit, SOX, or healthcare operations.
• Knowledge of IIA standards, COSO framework, and risk assessment practices.
• Working knowledge of IT and cybersecurity risks and controls.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with management.
• Ability to analyze complex processes and identify risks.
• Proficiency in data analytics and applying automation to audit work.

Responsibilities

• Assist leadership in developing and executing annual enterprise-wide risk-based audit plans.
• Lead audits from planning through reporting, including testing and documentation.
• Interview stakeholders and gather evidence for conclusions.
• Evaluate control design and effectiveness; document issues and root causes.
• Communicate results clearly and provide practical recommendations.
• Engage cross-functionally with stakeholders across the organization.
• Stay current on healthcare risks and regulatory requirements and contribute to improvements.
