Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university.
• 3+ years progressively responsible experience in Accounting.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data, including financial statements and key ratios.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience involving extensive work with complex spreadsheets.
• Understanding of US GAAP and ability to research technical accounting issues.

Responsabilités

• Oversees deposits of cash on time while keeping accurate accounting records.
• Keeps the manager up to date on all relevant matters as it pertains to the position.
• Prepares monthly journal entries and maintains complete records of these transactions.
• Reconciles bank statements and maintains an accurate running total of cash on hand.
• Ensures monthly balance sheet account reconciliations are prepared timely and accurately.
• Compiles financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and quarterly management reports in accordance to US GAAP.
• Oversees accurate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses and ensures records are compliant with policies.
• Ensures timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes and deadlines.
• Assists in preparation and submission of quarterly and annual reports as required by regulatory agreements.
• Submits quarterly and annual financial reports to health plans.
• Supports budget and forecast activities; prepares fluxes against actual results.
• Prepares for financial audits and coordinates the audit process with external auditors and health plans.
• Ensures compliance with laws and integrity of financial data.
• Assists with ad-hoc procedures and tasks as requested by management.
