Job summary

Sentry is seeking a Security Operations Tier 2 Analyst to investigate, resolve, and report on escalated security events to protect the organization from threats. Located at our Stevens Point, WI office in a hybrid model, this role emphasizes collaboration with senior teammates and adherence to incident response playbooks.

You will create and analyze metric reports, contribute to security projects, tune alerting, and maintain playbooks and tools used by the SOC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Investigate security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and other sources to identify root causes.
• Escalate issues to senior staff and document investigations and resolutions.
• Create and maintain security playbooks and incident procedures.
• Develop and analyze security metric reports for management.
• Lead or participate in security projects and tool evaluations.
• Participate in on-call rotation including nights and weekends.
