Job summary

Sentry Insurance is seeking a Security Operations Tier 2 Analyst to investigate, resolve, and report on escalated security events protecting the organization. You will consult with senior team members, escalate as needed, and maintain incident playbooks and procedures to ensure accurate handling of incidents.

You will also lead complex projects, develop security tooling and metrics, and participate in an on-call rotation, including nights and weekends, in a hybrid Stevens Point, WI office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a cybersecurity field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, resolve, and report on escalated security events to protect organizational assets.
• Create and maintain security playbooks/runbooks and incident resolution procedures.
• Tune security platform alerting parameters to maintain relevant alerts.
• Create and maintain metric reports for senior management.
• Participate in on-call rotation, including nights and weekends.
