Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Investigate security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, AV, NAC, and other sources to identify root causes and impacts.
• Identify resolutions and take actions to defend assets from threats.
• Escalate alerts to senior team members for further investigation or resolution.
• Analyze alerts/incidents and provide results to management with detailed records.
• Develop and maintain security playbooks, runbooks, and incident resolution procedures.
• Lead or participate in complex security projects and operationalize threat intelligence.
• Monitor and tune alerting parameters to keep relevance of generated alerts.
• Create and maintain metric reports for senior management and team members.
• Participate in on-call rotation including nights and weekends.
