Sentry Insurance seeks a Security Operations Tier 2 Analyst to investigate escalated security events and coordinate resolution with the team. The role includes maintaining incident procedures, tuning alerts, and leading security projects to strengthen the organization’s defenses.

You will contribute to metric reports, collaborate with senior staff on complex alerts, and participate in an on-call rotation to protect Sentry’s assets. Hybrid work model in Stevens Point, WI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience in security operations or a similar role.

Responsabilités

• Investigate escalated security alerts from multiple sources (SIEM, IDS/IPS, AV, NAC) and determine root causes.
• Escalate complex issues to senior team members and assist in incident resolution.
• Create and maintain security playbooks, runbooks, and incident response procedures.
• Develop, implement, and maintain security tools and platforms used by the SOC.
• Produce metrics and reports to support security program decisions.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, including nights and weekends.
