Sunset Search LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst - Tier II to join our MDR service delivery. You will analyze escalated alerts, perform threat hunting, guide containment and remediation, and mentor Tier I analysts.

• Certifications (e.g., Security+, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP) desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication for client engagement.

About the Role
As a Tier II SOC Analyst, you’ll be at the core of the employer’s MDR service delivery, analyzing escalated alerts, conducting threat hunting, and guiding clients through containment and remediation. You’ll also mentor Tier I analysts, help refine playbooks, and work closely with threat intelligence and incident response teams.
