Job summary

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) seeks a Security Analyst to support the Laboratory Safety and Emergency Response Unit. You will assist with research, planning, and training for campus emergency response plans, and coordinate fire drills and evacuation teams.

You will also handle contract documentation, budgeting, and invoice processing, reporting to the LSER Supervisor I. This role is hybrid in Contra Costa County and includes a 3% PLP 2025 pay reduction through June 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience with contract budgeting and invoice processing.
• Ability to coordinate training and drills for emergency response.
• Familiarity with procurement and contract solicitations processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analytical and technical assignments for the Laboratory Safety and Emergency Response Unit (LSER).
• Assist in research, planning, and training on campus emergency response plans; coordinate fire drills and evacuation teams.
• Prepare documentation for contracts and solicitations, manage contract budgeting and invoice processing; respond to annual drills related to budgets.
