Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Senior SDET/ Quality Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing for web applications. You will work in a distributed onshore-offshore team and integrate tests into Jenkins-driven CI pipelines.

The role requires strong Java skills, Selenium WebDriver, and experience with TestNG/JUnit, Git, and build tools. A background in Agile environments and API testing is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of software engineering with QA testing and automation.
• Strong Web UI testing and automation using Selenium WebDriver.
• Proficient in Java programming.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD (Jenkins) and build tools.
• Familiar with debugging tools and Agile tools.
• Experience in API testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test solutions for web apps.
• Create detailed test cases and automation strategies.
• Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and ensure continuous testing.
• Perform defect logging and triage with stakeholders.
• Maintain test documentation and reports in an onshore-offshore model.
