Encino Application Testing is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Selenium, Java, and Cucumber. You will work in a hybrid, multi-site environment with API and database testing, and report progress to an Agile team.

The role requires strong communication, ownership of automation initiatives, and a track record of delivering reliable QA solutions within SDLC cycles.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in QA Automation or Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Java, and Cucumber.
• Experience with API and database testing.
• Proven experience developing and executing automated test scripts.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and own deliverables.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, and Cucumber.
• Develop and enhance automated testing solutions to support quality and release objectives.
• Execute automation testing and analyze results to identify defects and risks.
• Perform API and database testing as part of validation.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders throughout SDLC.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and automation.
• Provide demonstrations and communicate automation progress and findings to the team.
• Troubleshoot automation issues and resolve defects.
• Improve automation frameworks and testing processes for efficiency.
• Take ownership of testing initiatives and deliver high-quality results.
