Job summary

Perfict Global is seeking an experienced QA/Automation Engineer to test REST APIs and UI components within a microservices environment. You will work closely with Developers, Technical Leads, and QA leadership to deliver high-quality software.

The role involves both automation and occasional manual testing, with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote, and a focus on problem solving and learning new technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience with UI and API testing in a fast paced environment.
• Hands-on with REST API testing using Postman and relevant tools.
• Strong Java development concepts and automation skills.
• Solid SQL knowledge for data validation and verification.
• Willingness to do manual/exploratory testing as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for UI and web service functional and automation testing.
• Collaborate with developers, QA leadership, PMO and cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to Rest API development testing within microservices-based apps.
• Engage in manual testing tasks as required and support QA efforts.
