Job summary

DTCC is seeking a skilled SDET to develop automation for UI, API, and backend testing in a hybrid model (onsite in the US and remote). You will design frameworks, implement Page Object Model patterns, and drive TDD/BDD practices.

You will collaborate with development teams and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, ensuring comprehensive testing coverage across multiple layers and technologies.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of automated unit and integration testing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test automation frameworks using Java and tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit.
• Develop and maintain Java-based automation scripts for UI, API, and backend testing.
• Apply OOP principles and best practices in automation code.
• Implement Page Object Model for scalable test automation.
• Perform API testing using Rest Assured and database validation with JDBC/JPA.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Cloudbees).
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
• Promote TDD/BDD practices using Cucumber.
• Ensure coverage across unit, integration, functional, regression, and smoke tests.
