Job summary

DTCC is seeking a skilled SDET to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions. The role focuses on Java-based test automation for UI, API, and backend testing, with emphasis on building robust frameworks and scalable patterns.

You will work within a business-aligned development squad, collaborating across teams to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure high-quality software delivery. A hybrid onsite/remote work model is offered.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of automated unit and integration testing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Strong Java programming proficiency and test automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test automation frameworks using Java and tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit.
• Develop and maintain Java-based automation scripts for UI, API, and backend testing.
• Apply OOP principles and design patterns like Page Object Model for scalable automation.
• Perform API testing using Rest Assured and DB validation using JDBC/JPA.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Cloudbees).
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
• Drive TDD and BDD practices using Cucumber.
• Ensure comprehensive coverage across unit, integration, functional, regression, and smoke testing.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to process improvements.
