Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to serve as a servant-leader and Agile coach, improving delivery flow and value realization across value streams. The role emphasizes Kanban-informed practices, removing impediments, and fostering collaborative, high-performing teams.

You will enable intake, refinement, and prioritization with TPMs and QA Leads, while safeguarding teams from disruption and promoting alignment with business outcomes in a hybrid U.S. office setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with cross-team coordination or scaled delivery.
• PSM I / PSM II, CSM / A-CSM / Kanban or SAFe Scrum Master certifications preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate team and value stream ceremonies (stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) and adapt practices.
• Identify and remove impediments that affect delivery.
• Foster transparency, collaboration, accountability, and psychological safety for continuous improvement.
• Enable effective work intake, refinement, and prioritization with TPMs and QA Leads.
• Shield teams from external disruption and promote stakeholder engagement.
• Track Agile metrics (cycle time, WIP, throughput) to support learning and improvement.
• Coordinate across teams to improve end-to-end delivery and reduce dependencies.
• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters, TPMs, QA Leads, coaches, and leadership to expand Agile adoption.
