Job summary

Woodard & Curran seeks a dynamic SCADA Controls Automation Project Engineer to join our Water Team. You will lead design, development, and startup of SCADA systems for municipal, industrial water, and wastewater projects across New England, with substantial field involvement and travel.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with project managers, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, and budget goals. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in control system integration.
• Responsible for leading SCADA projects within scope and budget.
• Experience with multiple HMI/SCADA platforms and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium to large SCADA implementation projects.
• Design PLC/HMI systems for water/wastewater.
• Coordinate with leadership and PMs on opportunities.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical oversight.
• Support client SCADA systems and startup activities.
