Job summary

Woodard & Curran Inc. is seeking a dynamic SCADA Automation & Controls Engineer to support projects across the New England region, including MA, RI and CT.

You will develop PLC logic, design HMI screens and manage field wiring with contractors, while keeping clients informed on progress and opportunities. The role emphasizes collaboration with project teams, strong communication, and the ability to travel regionally up to 80% to support startup and commissioning of water and wastewater

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years in control system integration.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs and SCADA software.
• Strong communication with internal/external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel regionally up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Develop process logic for PLCs and SCADA monitoring.
• Design HMI screens and operator interfaces.
• Configure instrumentation and field wiring with contractors.
• Create automated reports for clients and regulators.
• Train operations personnel on SCADA system use.
