Job summary

Old-Castle-Building-Envelop (OBE) is seeking a Planning Manager to own inventory positioning across our Los Angeles-area branch network. You will shape SAP planning, optimize MRP settings, safety stock, reorder points, and STO strategies to keep customers served and inventory investment efficient.

In this hybrid role, you will collaborate with Branch Operations, Procurement & Logistics, and drive continuous improvement of planning processes within SAP, influencing service levels across the

Qualifications

• 5+ years in inventory planning or related supply chain roles.
• Strong SAP MM, MRP and STO knowledge.
• Experience managing inventory across multiple sites.
• Analytical and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years procurement leadership in lieu of a degree.
• CPIM/CSCP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory planning & replenishment across all CRL distribution branches.
• Own SAP planning parameters, including MRP settings, safety stock levels, reorder points & replenishment rules.
• Design & execute branch-to-branch and warehouse-to-branch Stock Transfer Order (STO) strategies.
• Spot inventory imbalances early & move stock to where demand is.
• Partner with Branch Operations, Procurement & Logistics to resolve shortages & improve deployment.
• Drive continuous improvement & automation of planning processes within SAP.
• Contribute to SAP enhancements, system upgrades & planning projects.
