Job summary

Siemens Mobility in the Atlanta area is seeking a Sales Support Engineer to bolster regional outside sales in the construction market. You will help prepare quotations, proposals, and ensure smooth handovers from quote to order while proactively managing pre- and post-order tasks.

The role supports customer development, large project proposals, and collaboration with SI Business Units, with a path to grow into a sales position if desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in managing and expanding customer relationships.
• Willingness to travel for training, meetings, and territory support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and proprietary enterprise systems.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support regional outside sales in the construction market with quotations and proposals.
• Assist with order hand-off and manage pre- and post-order tasks for sales teams.
• Develop and nurture customer relationships by responding to inquiries and updates.
• Assist Sales Engineers on large project proposals and documentation.
• Serve as a technical liaison between customer and business unit.
• Provide coverage for SEs during absences and handle miscellaneous requests.
