The role requires 7+ years in application engineering, 3+ years in quotation/front-end engineering, and travel up to 10–15%. It may convert to remote for experienced candidates and includes a 10% target incentive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of application engineering experience for engineered-to-order solutions.
• 3+ years of quotation or front-end engineering experience.
• Experience analyzing specifications and single-line diagrams to optimize solutions.
• Strong business acumen balancing technical, commercial, and profitability objectives.
• Travel up to 10-15%.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into innovative, cost-effective power distribution solutions.
• Lead the development of complex proposals, including scope definition, equipment selection, and configurations.
• Create conceptual layouts and engineering deliverables that clearly communicate proposed solutions.
• Partner with engineering, procurement, and product teams to evaluate options and optimize design.
• Develop project estimates, cost models, and customer-facing proposal packages for large-scale opportunities.
• Support customer discussions and serve as a trusted technical advisor to sales and business development teams.
• Drive engineering excellence through continuous improvement and successful project handoff to execution teams.
