Job summary

Natixis Investment Managers in Boston seeks a Sales Commissions Analyst to ensure accurate and timely administration of the US distribution sales compensation programs. You will calculate commissions, validate sales credits, manage accruals, and deliver reports while partnering with Finance, Sales, Accounting, Data Enablement, and HR.

The role offers exposure to automation, analytics and process improvements, with a path to develop expertise in sales compensation and broader finance and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Finance, Accounting, Sales Operations, Compensation Administration, or a related analytical function.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, complex formulas, and large dataset analysis.
• Ability to analyze large data volumes accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to present to stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Administer monthly sales compensation process including calculations, validation, approvals, and payroll delivery.
• Analyze sales and commission results and develop recurring and ad hoc reporting for decision-making.
• Manage monthly commission accrual process and present results to Finance and Accounting leadership.
• Research and resolve inquiries related to commission payments, credits, attribution, and territory assignments.
• Partner with stakeholders to investigate and resolve compensation and reporting discrepancies.
• Support internal and external audits related to commission calculations and plans.
• Serve as SMEs for commission plans and the compensation management platform (Xactly Incent).
• Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI and analytics to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Recommend and support implementation of operational and reporting enhancements to improve controls and reduce risk.
• Support broader Finance reporting, analysis and special projects.
