Daikin Applied, the world's largest HVAC company, seeks a Sales Application Engineer in Staunton, VA. You will provide technical expertise on our product lines to sales reps, guide applications to meet field requirements, and help position products in the marketplace.

With a Bachelor's in Engineering and 2+ years of experience, you will stay current on new products, support pricing inquiries, and assist in preparing technical literature.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, accurate support to sales representative inquiries regarding special applications, systems or pricing.
• Process requests for modifications or options and other general information not covered by published pricing.
• Stay informed on new products and competitive models in the marketplace.
• Communicate suggested modifications to the company’s products/services to meet customer requirements.
• Provide feedback to product management for product services requirements not met by the current product line.
• Write and/or provide input to assist in preparing technical literature for internal and field applications.
• Participate in product training of sales representatives and customers.
