Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a participant for the Technology Leadership Program in the Risk & Security Analyst track in the United States. You will identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity and operational risks across Vanguard's systems and processes, contributing to risk-informed decision-making.

You'll work with cybersecurity, technology, and business partners, strengthen controls, and gain hands-on experience in risk management, frameworks, and digital ethics through capstones, hackathons, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with a concentration in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, Security, Risk, Cybersecurity or related technical/engineering subject matter required
• Strong interest in cybersecurity, threat analysis, risk management, or fraud prevention
• Demonstrated leadership potential, initiative, and ability to take ownership of work
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity and operational risks
• Analyze threats, vulnerabilities, and risk scenarios across systems and processes
• Contribute to reporting, dashboards, or insights for risk-informed decisions
• Partner with security, technology, and business teams to strengthen controls and processes
• Gain hands-on experience in risk management, cybersecurity frameworks, and digital ethics
• Apply Agile methodologies to support risk and security initiatives in a dynamic environment
• Take ownership of projects and deliver meaningful outcomes
• Collaborate across teams and build a network with managers and leaders
