Job summary

Vanguard’s Technology Leadership Program, in the Risk & Security Analytics track, invites graduates to help identify and mitigate cybersecurity and operational risks across Vanguard’s systems and clients. The two-year, three-rotation program includes real‑world capstones, hackathons, and collaboration with cybersecurity, technology, and business partners.

You will develop skills in threat analysis, risk reporting, and Agile delivery while gaining ownership of meaningful projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, Security, Risk, Cybersecurity or related technical/engineering subject matter required.
• Strong interest in cybersecurity, threat analysis, risk management, or fraud prevention.
• Demonstrated leadership potential, initiative, and ability to take ownership of work.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity and operational risks.
• Analyze potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risk scenarios across systems and processes.
• Contribute to reporting, dashboards, or insights that support risk-informed decision-making.
• Partner with security, technology, and business teams to strengthen controls and processes.
• Gain hands‑on experience in risk management, cybersecurity frameworks, and digital ethics.
• Apply Agile methodologies to support risk and security initiatives in a dynamic environment.
• Take ownership of projects and contribute to delivering meaningful outcomes.
• Collaborate across teams, share insights, and drive solutions in a supportive environment.
• Build a network with program managers, alumni, senior leaders, and peers.
