Marsh invites graduates to join the Risk Early Career Program as an Associate Broker in a two-year development track across the US and Canada. Roles are hybrid, requiring three days in office weekly, with openings in Boston and Atlanta.

This program offers onboarding, mentorship, and exposure to senior leaders within Marsh’s Brokerage Practice. You will gain training in risk assessment, client relations, and insurance negotiation, contributing to client risk management on diverse accounts.

Qualifications

• Graduation date between Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Liberal Arts, Finance, Risk Management and Insurance, or related major.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders and communicating across audiences.
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (US citizen or permanent resident).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives and Brokers to create strategies for renewing current business and attracting new opportunities.
• Evaluate insurance quotes and compare coverage offerings for clients.
• Negotiate terms and coverages with underwriters.
• Create and expand benchmarking reports.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and global insurance markets.
• Prepare presentations for client meetings or prospects.
• Develop and present renewal strategy documents.
• Work closely with senior colleagues on high-level projects.

We are seeking talented individuals to join our Marsh Early Career Program, part of our Risk business at Marsh. These roles will be based in Atlanta and Boston with an anticipated start in July 2027. These are hybrid roles that have a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Within Marsh Risk, the Brokerage Practice is integral in helping clients manage and reduce risks in real-world scenarios like medical pandemics, music festival liabilities, and financial scandals. You'll collaborate with clients to assess risks, build relationships with insurance companies, and secure competitive insurance quotes using your negotiation skills, making a significant impact in helping clients minimize their overall risk costs in today's world.

Available Teams

Each practice offers a distinct focus area within their specialty. Office availability varies by practice, and candidates will be aligned accordingly during the application review process.

Aviation – Atlanta

The Aviation team provides innovative insurance and risk management solutions customized to meet the needs and address the unique challenges of their clients in the ever-evolving risk landscape of the Aviation industry.

Casualty – Atlanta

The Casualty team provides support to clients by evaluating their potential liability for damages or losses incurred by other parties, assisting in identifying cost saving measures, and securing appropriate insurance coverage to mitigate these risks.

Energy & Power – Boston

The Energy & Power team offers innovative solutions to manage the risks of natural resource energy, renewable energy, power, and utility companies.

We will count on you to:

• Partner with Account Executives and Brokers to create innovative strategies and marketing plans for renewing current business and attracting new opportunities.
• Evaluate insurance quotes and compare coverage offerings for our clients.
• Negotiate terms and coverages with underwriters.
• Create and expand benchmarking reports.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and global insurance markets.
• Prepare presentations for client and or prospect/meetings.
• Develop and present internal and external renewal strategy documents.
• Work closely with senior colleagues on high-level projects.

What you need to have:

• Graduation date between Fall 2026 and Spring 2027
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Liberal Arts, Finance, Risk Management and Insurance, or another STEM-related or Business-related major
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
• Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders and building positive relationships with the ability to communicate effectively across different audiences
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future, in other words, you must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Green Card holder at the time of application

Compensation And Benefits

The base salary for these roles are $70,000 in Atlanta, and $73,000 in Boston. Please note that the salary is standardized per location and not subject to negotiation.
