Job summary

Ashley Addiction Treatment is seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Cycle & Accounts Receivable Specialist in a hybrid role in Maryland. You will manage patient and insurance receivables from billing through final resolution, reconciling payments, and handling claims, appeals, and refunds to support financial health and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities include owning accounts, submitting claims, analyzing denials, and ensuring accurate reimbursements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in insurance/patient billing and healthcare claims processing and follow-up.
• Proficient with third-party payer guidelines and denial processes.
• Ability to accurately calculate figures and reconcile accounts with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel; able to navigate EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned accounts and pursue timely payments from payers and patients.
• Prepare, review, and submit electronic or paper claims to various carriers.
• Analyze claim denials, file appeals, and track trends to reduce revenue leakage.
• Review EOBs, ERAs, and payer policies to verify correct reimbursements.
