Strong detail orientation and healthcare billing experience are essential. The role supports month‑end close across multiple clinics, with a hybrid work arrangement after an initial 90‑day onsite training period.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or healthcare/business education preferred.
• Experience in healthcare payment posting, medical billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle preferred.
• Experience reviewing ERAs, EOBs, EFTs, and insurance payments preferred.
• Healthcare settings in behavioral health or multi-site environments preferred.
• Experience with Medicaid/Medicare and managed care plans preferred.

Responsibilities

• Post insurance and patient payments, adjustments, and other account activity accurately and timely.
• Process ERAs and paper EOBs; reconcile deposits and payments to accounts.
• Match deposits, EFTs, credit cards, checks, and ERAs to patient accounts and claims.
• Prepare weekly deposits and assist in month‑end reconciliation.
• Identify denials and discrepancies and route to appropriate biller for follow‑up.
• Maintain documentation for audits and internal reviews; ensure HIPAA compliance.
