MissionSquare in San Jose, CA, is seeking a Retirement Plans Specialist to deliver on-site service and education to a local client base, expanding enrollment and savings levels while boosting plan knowledge. The role emphasizes direct client engagement, retirement education, and solid knowledge of retirement products.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in financial services sales with Series 65 licensing and strong presentation skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years related experience in financial services sales.
• Series 65 licensing required.
• Significant knowledge of retirement and investment products with emphasis on defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
• Experience with IRAs, 401k, 403b, 401a, or DB plans.
• Direct sales experience desired with closing sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication, listening, interpersonal skills, and ability to follow directions.
• Spanish bilingual preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct on-site one-on-one consultations at employers, educating participants on investment education, enrollment, savings rates, and retention.
• Give group education presentations on retirement topics to diverse audiences.
• Host Annual Plan Reviews with employer decision makers focusing on plan trends, investment, and education outcomes.
• Build and maintain relationships with plan level decision makers including officials, board members, unions, and executives.
• Proactively schedule, organize and market daily activities and onsite client visits.
• Represent MissionSquare at benefit fairs, conferences and other events promoting retirement security.
