MissionSquare in Greater Sacramento, CA, seeks a Retirement Plans Specialist to deliver on-site service and education, expand plan enrollment, raise savings levels, and enhance participant knowledge across multiple retirement vehicles.

The role requires 3–5 years in financial services sales, Series 65 licensing, and strong communication skills. Hybrid work schedules, competitive rewards, and opportunities for professional growth are offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years related experience in financial services sales strongly preferred.
• Customer service experience is helpful.
• Series 65 licensing required.
• Significant knowledge of retirement and investment products with an emphasis on deferred compensation defined benefit and defined contribution plans.

Responsabilités

• Conduct one-on-one consultations on-site at employers, engaging participants and improving outcomes in investment education, enrollment, savings rates, outside asset acquisition, and account retention.
• Give group education presentations on financial and retirement topics to diverse audiences.
• Host Annual Plan Reviews with key decision makers focusing on plan trends, investment, and participant education outcomes.
• Build relationships with plan level decision makers including officials, board members, union reps, and C‑suite admins.
• Proactively schedule and market daily activities and on-site visits.
• Record all daily activity in contact management systems accurately.
• Identify and refer new group or individual business opportunities.
