Job summary

JLab Audio, based in Carlsbad, CA, is seeking a results-driven Retail Account Manager to grow our retail business by owning and expanding a portfolio of small and emerging accounts. You will work with Senior Sales leadership and cross-functional teams to drive revenue, improve profitability, and strengthen retailer relationships across multiple product categories.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a commercial role in CPG, consumer electronics, or related industry.
• Ability to analyze financial data and translate insights into action (gross-to-net, margins, pricing).
• Experience building and managing relationships with external partners or customers.
• Independent judgement and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a portfolio of retail accounts, serving as the primary contact and accountable for performance.
• Develop, execute, and refine account-level strategies to drive revenue growth and retailer partnerships.
• Identify and pursue new retail opportunities aligned with growth strategy, including select new accounts.
• Build and maintain account-level business plans to support sustained growth.
• Manage financial performance, including gross-to-net analysis, promotions, and profitability levers.
• Develop pricing strategies to increase sales while maintaining margins and brand positioning.
• Own forecasting for assigned accounts and align planning with strategy.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Operations to shape retailer brand strategies.
• Monitor competitive landscape and incorporate insights into account planning.
• Leverage CRM data to assess account health and forecast opportunities.
