Job summary

Marketlab is seeking an Associate Inside Sales Account Manager to cultivate long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients, advocating for their needs while coordinating with internal teams to deliver high-quality products. The role reports to the Interim Manager, Inside Sales.

You will grow sales and gross profit through relationship-based selling, build customer loyalty, and coordinate pricing, quotations, and order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of sales experience required; inside sales preferred.
• Healthcare sales or hospital procurement experience preferred.
• Direct mail catalog business model experience preferred.
• Proven success in relationship-building and goal achievement.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for on-site customer meetings.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales and gross profit through relationship-based selling with existing customers and new leads.
• Generate profitable sales and build loyalty via value-added services.
• Maintain customer loyalty through daily outbound calls and visits.
• Qualify customer needs, establish relationships and expand share of spend on consumables.
• Provide dedicated account management and coordinate with internal teams on pricing and quotes.
• Source product requests with pricing and discount terms.
• Prepare quotations and follow up to close sales.
• Position Marketlab as a preferred supplier through targeted outreach.
• Ensure accuracy of new customer contact information.
• Stay informed on new products and services of interest to customers.
• Troubleshoot account issues and coordinate solutions with customers.
• Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and share industry insights.
• Undertake miscellaneous projects as directed by Interim Manager, Inside Sales.
